Precast and insitu-brickwork - office
This office development had a long history of planning negotiations. Before our client purchased the site a Planning Approval had been granted via architects.
T.N.P.P. was commissioned to take the building as designed and change its construction from in-situ brickwork and concrete structural frame to pre-cast panel brickwork and steel frame. This method of construction is more suitable for the fast-track method of building procurement favoured by the client.
This fast-track system was based upon a contract/site management consultant team that controlled the site by letting all work directly with specialist contractors.
The works coincided with a change in inner London to use the national building regulations.
